A Little About Me

I’m interested in what moves people and how we adapt to change. Alongside my counselling and coaching work, I bring over 20 years of experience as a physiotherapist, which has deepened my understanding of how physical movement, health and emotional flexibility are connected.

Three years ago, I expanded my skills through the Institute of Applied Psychology to pursue this interest in counselling and coaching. In my work in health, I’ve seen how reflection, honest conversation and support help people navigate change and regain balance.

My training showed me how communication and active listening are often underused in relationships and everyday encounters. In a world shaped by social media, it is easy to feel both connected and disconnected.

Sport has been a large part of my life. While  I have stepped back from the intense elite athlete scene — I was an Olympic speed skater I now find it easier to appreciate the complete athlete and the many abilities required to perform at one’s best.

I love writing, being outdoors and staying active — a combination that helps me relax and gain perspective and has given me a deeper appreciation of what it takes to perform at one’s best.

As a parent, I have learned there are no shortcuts in upbringing or education. Each stage offers opportunities for growth, and raising children is a true pleasure.

I work with all ages and abilities and look forward to participating in your journey.
